Nitrogreen North
Nitrogen North is a mixture of species designed to offer high Nitrogen production (up to 150 units of N) and a green manure crop. Contains 60% Hairy Vetch, 15% Medium Red Clover, 15% Yellow Blossom Sweet Clover, and 10% Tillage Radishes. Good winter-hardiness. Seed mid-August through early September. Nitrogreen South is a mixture of species designed to maximize nitrogen production and a green manure crop. Seed from mid-August through mid-October for those areas south of Interstate 70. If let to flower the following year, can produce up to 150 units of Nitrogen. Contains 60% Hairy Vetch, 30% Crimson Clover, and 10% Tillage Radishes. Soil Builder
Soil Builder is just as the name implies is a mix designed to build your soils. Contains 40% annual ryegrass, 35% hairy vetch, 20% crimson clover, and 5% tillage radishes. Ryegrass to build humus, scavenge nutrients, and improve soil structure, tillage radish to help loosen and aerate the soil, hairy vetch and crimson clover to fix large amounts of nitrogen under many soil conditions. In MI, WI, MN, seed early to mid September. In southern IN, IL, and OH, seed mid-Aug thru September. Clover and hairy vetch are preinoculated.
