Crimson Clover
Crimson clover is an annual clover that can be planted in the spring or fall. Fast, vigorous growth, excellent N source, soil builder, and good for grazing or haying. Crimson clover has the potential to produce from 70 to 150 units of N. Prefers well drained soils. Inoculate crimson clover if it hasn't been grown before. In the fall, seed 6-8 weeks before frost. For spring seedings, plant after all danger of frost is past. Seeding rate is 15-18 lbs/acre drilled or 22-30 lbs/acre broadcast.$0.95/ lb. -
