Haylage Pro Premium Grass Mix
Haylage Pro is a 50:50 mixture of premium late-heading tetraploid perennial ryegrass and tall fescue. The high sugar levels in the ryegrass help to ferment the silage quicker and increase the energy in the forage. Tall fescue with it's highly digestible fiber (energy) contributes to make this an excellent forage for high producing dairy cows. Designed to increase forage yield and milk per acre when seeded with alfalfa. Excellent for silage or balage. Not for dry hay production. Alfaplus Premium Grass Mix
Alfaplus is a mixture of 50% hay type tall fescue, 40% late-heading orchardgrass, and 10% timothy. A very easy to dry all grass mixture. The tall fescue provides highly digestible fiber (energy) and good drought tolerance with its deep root system. A premium orchardgrass variety that is late-heading. Timothy is included for added palatability. An excellent mix for most soil types. Great to add to alfalfa or red clover for dry hay, silage or balage production. Alfamate Premium Grass Mix
Alfamate is an all grass mixture of 50% Hakari Alaska Brome, 40% late-maturing orchardgrass, and 10% timothy. Makes a very soft, leafy premium grass hay by itself or mixed with alfalfa. The Hakari brome is quick to establish, the orchardgrass and timothy are a little slower. Does best on well drained soils with good fertility. Performance Max
Performance Max is a mixture of 70% Kingfisher premium alfalfas (two or more) and 30% hay type tall fescue. The alfalfa seed is coated to provide better seedling emergence and survivability. The tall fescue is endophyte-free and provides high fiber digestibility, traffic tolerance, and higher yields in wetter areas. Excellent for dry hay, silage, and/or balage. Lowland Hay mix tolerates wetter soils and is a mixture of 50% Kingfisher 444 or 222 alfalfa, 15% Cyclone II red clover, 15% hay type Tall Fescue, 10% late heading Orchardgrass, and 10% Timothy.
