GRASSES FOR YOUR ALFALFAS
An excellent management practice to increase
production, is introducing high-energy grasses into your
alfalfas. This will increase both tonnage and the digestible

Alfamate

A great mix to add with alfalfa or Red Clover. We have
now added the leafy Barfleo Timothy so we have a component that
is tolerant of wetter soils. Contains approximately 52% Hakari
Alaska Brame, 38% late heading Orchardgrass and 10% Barfleo
Timothy. All grasses are late in maturity and compliment alfalfa
well. The Hakari will act as a high quality nurse crop for the
alfalfa and boost production in the earlier years. The orchard
grass and Timothy come in slow but will persist well as the
Hakari weakens.

fine leafed tall fescue. This premium blend is especially
formulated for haylage or balage. Mix with alfalfa or by itself.
For the hay producer who desires better haylage or balage. Not
